More challenges

I am having so much fun doing these challenges on scrapbook.com! If you aren't a member yet & want to join, just click on the join me link.

One challenge was to do a song title, so I chose "Splish Splash' don't really know if that is the title or just a chorus of the song but it worked for me. :) I used pop dots on the pictures to make them different levels, kinda 3-D. The layout design is from a sketch from theuntamedscrapper.com It turned out very cute!

Another challenge I did is called low tech so instead of using a die cut machine or tool you had to hand cut, so I did a paper piecing of the bunny, then I used liquid applique (puffy paint) & made him puffy. Then I added ribbon. Very simple on this one. The layout design is from a sketch from pagemaps.com

I also did a negative space challenge. This one I just used acrylic paint & brushed it on, then just used some blue sparkle paint across it, I also used the blue sparkle paint in the middle of the flowers. I thought this was a great way to scrap these little photo booth pictures!

Ribbon challenge

OKay, I signed up for a ribbon challenge & this ribbon is ugly! So... this is what I came up with for this little strip of ugly ribbon. LOL!!!!

I used a big silk flower (clearance stuff from J's) & I added a lot of silver glitter. It turned out okay.

Happy Fall Y'all

This was from fall 2007. we went to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. It was awesome, they had a ton of things to do there so I had a lot of pictures to use! I actually used a Page Maps sketch. http://www.pagemaps.com/
I used felt pieces that I had bought on clearance last year from JoAnn's fall section!

One color layout challenge

This challenge was to make a complete layout with only one color! I chose grey for these cute pictures I had. I had grey ribbon & buttons & some paper that I covered the chipboard swirls with. Then I put grey chalk onto white silk flowers & onto white lace. So it is all one color. Then I printed my title in grey onto vellum.

I just love the pictures of my now 6 yr. old. The big lab/ret. passed away shortly after this was taken so she doesn't really remember him, he was 10. & the heeler/shep. just passed away last Feb. at age 15 so she does know her. So these pics are more special to me than for her. :)
